Recently, CCTV News Channel reported on the accelerated implementation of a batch of new infrastructure projects such as intelligent computing and computing-power-electricity coordination in Inner Mongolia, with a focus on the construction progress of a key project of the national “East Data West Computing” hub node—BONC’s data center project in the Horqin New Area. As a benchmark project that deeply responds to the national strategy, BONC is injecting strong momentum into regional digital economic development and the construction of a national integrated computing system with steady steps.
Since the start of construction, the project has advanced efficiently with remarkable results. Currently, Data Buildings 1, 3, and 5 have been delivered and put into operation first, providing over 30,000P of instant computing services, effectively meeting the business needs of core customers. Building 2 is undergoing intensive equipment joint debugging, system monitoring, and other finishing work. Upon overall completion, the project will have the capability to output over 100,000P of intelligent computing, building a solid foundation for applications such as artificial intelligence, big data, and high-performance computing.
While steadily advancing construction, BONC’s intelligent computing center deeply practices the concepts of “computing-power-electricity coordination” and “green power direct supply.” Relying on the abundant clean energy advantages of the Horqin New Area, it actively explores the deep integration of computing infrastructure and green electricity, effectively reducing energy consumption and improving energy utilization efficiency through innovative applications such as liquid cooling technology, striving to build a green, low-carbon, and efficient intelligent computing demonstration project, and contributing to the realization of the “dual carbon” goals with concrete actions.
The project’s solid results have continued to receive attention from all parties. Previously, by virtue of the investment-driving effect in major project construction, BONC was awarded the “2025 Fixed Asset Investment Contribution Outstanding Unit” by the Horqin New Area. This appearance on CCTV News is another intuitive presentation of the project’s construction results.
In the future, BONC will continue to steadily advance the construction and delivery of the Horqin intelligent computing base, and is committed to building the project into a high-standard, high-reliability computing hub. The company will always follow the national “East Data West Computing” strategic layout, give full play to its comprehensive advantages in intelligent computing center construction, computing-power-electricity coordination, computing scheduling, and industry applications, empower the development of new quality productive forces with advanced computing, help the digital and intelligent transformation of various industries, and contribute core strength to promoting local high-quality economic development.
